Welcome to week 6 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link.

Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson.

I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.

Week 06_2023

o How have you been tested while waiting for God to fulfill His promise?

Can we imagine Abraham? Can you see yourself on a journey to sacrifice your children? We have hints that Abraham knew beforehand that God would provide the sacrifice; nonetheless, can you see your son carrying the wood for the offering and, in your bag, a knife?

God’s appearance to Abraham set his heart on a journey that changed the world. It was God’s intention and Abraham’s willingness to obey God’s voice and word. Though the journey was difficult, God worked out all things for good in Abraham’s walk and eventual mission.

Q1. Think about your journey with the Lord and some of the promises He made to you. Share what you are waiting for God to pass. Have you received your promise but are now being tested like Abraham?

God’s word has promised His truth to me. But I’ve been running in the wrong direction. Many temptations come my way. I can remain faithful. God’s promise has held me and kept me. My calling is sure by His stripes and calling. I have to go forward with the intention the Lord has for me. We are ‘sent’ by the Lord to accomplish what He has called us to do.

Q2. As we go through testing, what should be increasing in our lives? How have you grown to know God more intimately in your test?

I never doubted God. I had such an incredible conversion and fellowship with Christ. I had a vision of Christ coming into a small church. First, His angels appeared, and then Christ Himself came into the room. He approached a young girl who was worshiping, and as He touched her, she began to cry out, “Jesus Jesus,” as tears ran down her cheek. I thought to myself, how much can she stand? Then I heard the audible voice of Jesus say, “No. I can love her more.” This wasn’t a large church with a big choir. They had two instruments. A piano the deacon played, and the pastor’s wife had a tambourine. But God was there.

I never doubted God. I have doubted myself. Others I found you cannot trust for the most part. But God is faithful. I also learned of the enemy’s devices and that he is the father of all lies.

LOVE. Growing in Love is first and foremost. It truly conquers all circumstances.

Q. Why is it important to understand God’s personality as He establishes His plan in your life? How does knowing Him to develop powerful faith in you?

God is so faithful! His love is sure, and His word never returns void! He is the strength of my heart.

Q. Discuss the dichotomy between good and evil here on earth. How can we strengthen each other to build powerful faith in one another?

We need to have fellowship and trust one another. Love has to be the bond. The world does not know Him, but we Know Him and the Father too. We must remember that as we walk in this world, we are not of it any longer, and we have to share the Good News and know who we are talking to.

Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.

Please remember to pray for me and all who receive the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai.

If anyone has a suggestion, they can post a comment here, send me an email, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly.

Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. We should not be given over to situations but, as Christians, take appropriate actions when the waves rage.

God Bless you and keep you!

Give us your response to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions.

Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video and not just necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggest. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us, but first, make sure to watch this week’s lesson video or/and read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.

God Bless, and thank you,
Scott
