Welcome to week 21 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link.

Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson.

I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.

Week 21_2023

God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. That is what we are doing here. We are seeking a deeper revelation of God through His word and our participation.

Discuss:

Q o Discuss why Jesus approached Dr. Zadai differently. How does that apply to you?

Depending on your calling, your place with the talents God has given you and what you have done with them. If you have heard Dr. Kevin’s testimonial and his ministry, you know he was a faithful servant and invested his talents wisely. So he has been given much.

Q 1. Discuss the fact that the great men and women of God of the Bible had relationship with Him, not just position. Why is relationship greater than position?

I’m reminded of the servants who were given talents once again. The servant who knew nothing of the Lord just buried the gift he received. He came to the conclusion the Lord was a hard taskmaster. Not true, of course! He did not know the Lord. Some say the outer darkness in this story represents the temple’s outer courts. It sounds a bit like hell, doesn’t it—weeping and gnashing of teeth. But once again, as I mentioned last week, this is not hell. This man lost all his reward. His position was in Christ. He believed but scarcely. Once again, I can list world-renowned preachers who will tell you this—weeping and gnashing teeth is due for staying far from your Savior to avoid inconvenience thereby losing your rewards in the Kingdom to come.

Q 2. Discuss how our obedience to God expedites destiny. How does relationship with God affect one’s view of obedience?

Obedience: It’s a great privilege. But you must be ready to die to yourself and all this world has to offer, the good, the bad, and the ugly. I believe that is true. Walk in the Spirit. Move in the Spirit. The things of this world we grow dim, and you will be a light.

Q 3. Why is it important to understand that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, according to Hebrew 11:6? How does this truth inspire you?

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who approaches Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

How do you walk? How do you walk in faith or the lack thereof? In faith, I have treasure beyond measure. Without faith, I know I’m off the path. God is in the business of giving good things to His children. Do you see it? Do you taste it? He sacrificed His life for you to have the good things in life. That does not mean everything is peachy and rosy. But when it is beautiful, I enjoy His beauty. I take in the pleasures at His right hand. There is beauty in the testing. Faith for me is seeing the Heavenly City and walking in that direction regardless of what the world throughs at you.

Q 4. Discuss the deception of those in Matthew 7:21–23 to whom Jesus told to depart from Him. How do we guard ourselves against deception?

Matthew 7:21-23
21 Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’
23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’
BSB

How many people live in a relationship that should be ordained in a marriage and may go to church? Yet, they may conduct themselves in violence. Give false testimony etc. The Ten Commandments. Thank God Christ fulfilled the Law. But we must diligently seek Him and bear the fruits of righteous living.

Dr. Missler wrote a book called The Power, The Kingdom, and the Glory. He talks about The Kingdom of Heaven and The Kingdom of God being two locations. The Kingdom of Heaven is God’s Kingdom upon the Earth where we will rule and reign – those who diligently seek Him and have that relationship and those who cannot enter but are not going to hell. They will be in the Kingdom of God. I also have heard Messianic ministries discuss the two locations.

Q 5. What does Dr. Zadai mean by “turning yourself to God?” How does this cultivate relationship with Him?

I tell myself every time before I pray I better confess my sins first to the Lord and ask Him for His strength. Then I tell Him my needs. Then I ask Him to fulfill His calling in me that day. Experience Him and tell Him how much you love Him every day.

I just heard that love song from Romeo and Juliet, “A Time for Us.” We may look through a glass darkly at times, but one day, we will see Him and be as He is! This world will blossom again when Messiah Jesus rules and reigns this earth from the throne of David – The Kingdom of Heaven upon the Earth. .

Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.

Please remember to pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai.

If anyone has a suggestion, they can post a comment here, send me an email, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly.

Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but take appropriate actions when the waves rage.

God Bless you and keep you!

Give us your response to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions.

Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video and not just necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggest. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us, but first, make sure to watch this week’s lesson video or/and read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.

God Bless, and thank you,
Scott
