Welcome to week 37 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link. Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link and then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson. I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy, but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.
Week 37_2023
Q o Discuss the fight in this world to become something that we are not. Your Comment. Please
We have many examples before us as to what success looks like. It comes in many forms depending on the culture and professionalism of the individual. But when looking at what the scriptures tell us, success is knowing God, living up to His expectations, and not striving to be accepted in this fallen realm as the status quo predicts. That is not to say we should not try to do our best to succeed financially and have a good education. But we are to remember how we are to live in this realm as a light in a dark place.
I live separated from what I used to think was “normal” to follow a Godly life, and as we step into our calling, we may have to break away from relationships just to follow God’s call on our lives.
Q 1) 1 Thessalonians 2:4 states that our purpose is to please God, not people. According to this verse, how do we become effective in this life? Your Comment. Please
We have to remember this in our daily walk. We have to walk circumspectly. We are not to put stumbling blocks before our brothers and sisters in Christ, thinking we are doing God’s will, while the Bible clearly says this is not to be done. I heard this coming from several pulpits, and it is unfortunately true. We cannot be effective when our brethren strive against us. We must be united.
The best evidence I have seen the church working in the marketplace of ideas is seeing a church in California make headway in taking charge of their children’s lives. Parents in the school district now must be informed if a child chooses to change their gender. Groups of people are fighting to keep the parents out of their children’s lives, but this church has stepped forward and made a stance on what it believes is right based on Biblical principles. It has become a lamp on a hill and not one under a bushel.
This whole idea may come as a shock to you. Parents need to fight in court cases to have their children’s decisions, which are likely influenced by those who oppose biblical values made known to them. The only reason this is the case is due to the lack of commitment the Church has made in the political arena. The Church in America has avoided politics, and this has proven disastrous.
Q 3) Discuss what happens when you make corrections while those around you resist the Lord. How can we be prepared to endure the separation that takes place? Your Comment. Please
Religion is everywhere in some shape or form. It resists the Spirit, and that is when you know you are coming against a religious spirit. It is not of God. Regardless of their church, anyone who resists the Spirit of God is working out of a religious spirit. The person may be saved but not have a revelation that comes true: a living relationship with the Lord. Now, the worldly will never commit their lives to what the Bible says we are to become through the renewing of our minds. That is obvious, but a religious spirit is not easily discernible.
Q 4) Many believers are stuck in a Romans 7 mentality when we should be living in Romans 8. Discuss the difference between Romans 7 and 8 according to this study. Your Comment. Please

Q 5) Take a moment to ask yourself, “Am I living to please God or seeking people’s approval?” Discuss what it means to live as a servant of Christ, according to Galatians 1:10. Your Comment. Please
Make sure you follow the Holy Spirit’s guidance. We all need one another, and we need to be a part of a body of believers doing what God has asked us to do. He is our peace.
Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests. Please remember to pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai. If anyone has a suggestion, they can post a comment here, send me an email, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly. Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but take appropriate actions when the waves rage. God Bless you and keep you! Give us your response to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions. Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video and not just necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggests. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us, but first, make sure to watch this week’s lesson video or read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.
Thank you, and God Bless,
Scott Camilleri
