Week 48_2025
Q ) Discuss what it means that God has joined with us and we are joined with him. We are in a partnership, and the battle is not ours but God’s
Your Comment. Please,
God has joined with us in a way that goes far beyond what we can express in words and description in our current form. Some believe we had a DNA alteration when we were born again, literally becoming a new creation. I have to agree with that. Many thoughts along these lines are being discussed in scholarly circles today. And the rabbis for thousands of years believed there was a physical change, obviously, which would mean our DNA was altered back at the Fall. Long before the DNA molecule was discovered. But there seems to be a connection between DNA and the invisible realm. Scientists today have a term they call quantum biology. I think that’s what we call instinct. A gut feeling. Dr Kevin speaks of our dimensionality, that we are not just in the three-dimensional plane with height and depth. Dr. Missler used to say that the Apostle Paul actually expressed a fourth dimensionality right in Scripture, though it is hidden from us to some degree in the language used.
Ephesians 3:18 NLT
And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.
But there are higher parts of us that we are not aware of, and this is why our sexual purity is very important and sanctifies a holy matrimony between a man and a woman, as God has spoken. When a man and a woman join, the scripture states they become one. We become that new creation we just talked about by the indwelling of God’s Holy Spirit. And Jesus has told us they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me.
Luke 10:16 NASB 1995
“The one who listens to you listens to Me, and the one who rejects you rejects Me; and he who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”
So it’s truly a battle that God has initiated in the process of our salvation. We are to take out those giants in our ministry, our existence, our lives at such a time as this. This is our time. So we submit to God, and we use the authority we discussed in the previous week’s Bible study. And we trample on the scorpions and snakes by the blood of Jesus. Life is in the blood and has been given to us on the altar for atonement – and now for complete salvation in the New Covenant.
Q ) 1 Talk about how we may have been backing off as if God has changed His mind because we’ve seen how satan came in and was allowed to do certain things. What are we going to do about it?
Your Comment. Please,
Before I began to grasp the character of God as we find Him in Scripture, rather than through casual conversation, I did so through scholarly leadership in Bible college and various scholarly-led churches. Then we truly do find the character of God within the context of the Bible. God is. We say things like God is good all the time. And then we scratch our heads and say things like Oh, how did God allow that – oh, my loved one had recently passed on, or has become very ill, or had a tragic accident. But God isn’t in the business of causing pain, suffering, and death in the life of His creation. He is in the process of saving that which was already lost.
I stress this because we truly need to understand the character of God to put everything in proper perspective regarding who God is and His purpose. I don’t think this can ever be stressed enough, because we have embedded in our minds the notion that God is standing around waiting to beat us over our heads with a 2×4, which my old pastor used to joke about, many years ago.
That is not the God of the Bible. I had to make a message concerning this, though it was a bit lengthy, it still did not cover the topic enough, of course. I called it What Does God Allow. I say all this because I just remember myself backing off my love and affection for God due to believing He was the one who brings suffering and pain into our lives. Our sin does that, and it is only Love (God) that heals us. Our sin could be due to trauma, and Love is the only thing that will help us escape the cycle of despair and besetting sins. He will work all things out for the good of those who love Him. And he set a catalyst in place so that what we do will have an effect, and it will echo back to us.
If we purposely choose sin, it will cause our consciousness to be calloused towards the promises of God and the things He has told us we must agree to. The sheep and the shepherd are the greatest analogy I think of. When the sheep wanders off from the protection of its shepherd, it’s sure to run into problems. That is due to our wandering away from the truth and not submitting to and being humble before the Word of God, the Lord. Lord of all!
So there’s always a lesson to be learned in our pain and suffering – one that should bless us and give us more reason and understanding. God is not the author of death but of live. We cannot dwell on the tragedy and remain there.
I remember watching a show discussing tribal people in Africa and how they performed a primitive form of brain surgery, and somehow or another, they knew what they were doing, and the patient was better. Nonetheless, they didn’t have any anesthetics, and they would literally cut the skull and then operate on the brain. If you can imagine, the healing process was painful. What scientists have shown is that anyone who focuses on the pain increases the neurological connection – the pathways within the brain which increase the sensation of pain. So the more we focus on the difficulty of a situation instead of the solution, the more we increase the likelihood of that being our view and situation. It’s a scientific fact that if you do not focus on what pains you, you will feel less of its effects. I’m not trying to suggest that we shouldn’t grieve or feel sorrow, because these things bring sorrow and pain to us and to the heart of our Lord and Savior, our God.
So we must ask ourselves, have we considered our God! Have we considered what he has done to bear our suffering and pain and to give us life and to open the prison doors – those doors that were actually open but our eyes were blind to see?
I know I will see my loved ones on the other side of this veil that we are currently behind. I know the pain and suffering they have in their body was removed completely as they passed on from this life onto the next. And I know that the world and the reality we are currently will be dissolved and ruled and reigned by Jesus in the 1,000-year reign of the Messiah, the Christ. So I focus on Jesus – the author and the finisher of our faith. Our champion now resides within us.
Q ) 2 What causes an evil spirit to be afraid of you?
Your Comment. Please,
Once you understand your authority and who you are in Christ, death loses its sting, strange things would happen around you as the enemy tries to use people to come against you as he sees you continually take your thoughts captive as the enemy tries to take you away from your Bible study, your Bible reading, your preaching, your meditation time with the Lord, and the love you have for your family. You will see your thoughts become distracted, or someone will say or do something that is completely out of the blue, and you don’t understand how or why this person is interacting with you in such a manner. It has to do with the fallen realm. We speak the truth we find in the scriptures here in our Bible study, and we make them part of our lives. It is the law written upon our heart, and that we hold it so true that it cannot escape us, and we focus our minds upon these words, these verses, and increase our faith – A lamp and a light on our journey.
Psalm 119: 105 ESV
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Q ) 3 Discuss: How God is working with us. He is going to perform miracles and confirm His word.
Your Comment. Please,
Since Jesus has given us authority so that we can walk on water, and scorpions and snakes, and that what we bind on earth is bound in heaven, speaking of the fallen realm and those beings, those spirits that are working their evil. And we can apply the blood of Christ, speak out, and pray out loud for miracles. God’s Words never return empty; they fulfill His purpose, and that includes the words Jesus has told us. It’s not whether you have enough faith, nor is it whether you’ve been a good boy or girl this week – this is a covenant, which means God is performing His work. As long as we are in humility under His Word, we have the authority. He saw us long before we were born and knew all our actions and deeds, those that were done yesterday, today, and will be done tomorrow, and He decided you are the one He will live in and love because you will accept His only begotten Son. Now we have to walk the walk and believe what Jesus has told us.
Q 4 Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.

Prayer
Dear Lord God, I thank you for all my brothers and sisters, for my employers, for my parents, and for the time you have given me. The anchor holds, and the rock that is our foundation has not moved. You are making all things new, and you have made us a new creation, not creatures of this world, but members of a new race of the kingdom of Heaven. While we are here and are your ambassadors, always remind us of Your truths, may we always have Your truths before us, may we always refer to that great love letter you’ve written to us in Your Son’s blood – the Word of God. I pray for all members of the Warrior Notes Ministry, including those in the ministry, Dr. Kevin, Dr. Kathi, and all those who serve within it, as well as the Bible college students from around the world. We grow in power and strength and faith and belief in what you have given us as we understand more and more of your Holy Word written upon our hearts. In Jesus’s name we pray. Amen

Pray with one another and for one another, especially for those with specific needs or prayer requests. Please pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai. Anyone with a suggestion can post a comment, email me, or do both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission, such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are included in each weekly email I send. Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but should take appropriate actions when the waves rage. God bless you and keep you! Please respond to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions. Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video, not necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggests. Tell us what God is saying to you. Please share it with us, but first, watch this week’s lesson video or read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.
God Bless, and thank you,
Scott.
