Week 29_2026

Q ) Why is the Holy Spirit described as our advocate and counselor?

Your Comment. Please,

We find that God is in the business of Blessing His people so much so that after sacrificing His own Son on our behalf, He sent the counselor, the advocate, who will defend us in our daily walk. But we must be in the secret place.

Q ) 1. How do demons try to perpetuate curses in families? Discuss how, according to 2 Corinthians 3:17, the Holy Spirit brings liberty.

Your Comment. Please,

The devil is the cause of all sickness and pain. God is holding this place so those – all of humanity – who were ALREADY lost might be saved. So while some argue that God made ‘them’ sick, God is holding all things together, sent His only begotten Son to the Cross, so that you might be saved. So while yes, we suffer here, God is allowing this so that the lost might be saved on His account by His shed blood. So, God does not make you sick. He put your sickness and righteousness, which is worse than a filthy rag, upon His only Son, so that you may be healed for all eternity. The devil wants to find any legal reason, our sin nature, to attack us. Even if we do not sin, satan will attack us because he hates all that God has created, especially humans, since they are made in the image of God.

Q ) 2. Discuss the role of the Holy Spirit to the world and to believers, according to John 16:7–15.

Your Comment. Please,

The role of the holy Spirit is to convict the role of the Holy Spirit is to convict the world of sin and to bring the unrepentant unbelievers to the knowledge of the saving grace of our Lord Jesus. He wants to guide them to the truth, and He does so by explicitly keeping us in a place where we can see the beauty of God’s creation and the stars themselves declare the majesty of God. God depends upon His people to bring about the knowledge of the truth to their ears. A true example is through preaching through our endeavors, day-to-day endeavors.

Q ) 3. When a nation chooses not to follow God, what does He do? How does God treat His remnant people who choose to yield to Him?

Your Comment. Please,

Unrepentant nations are under the judgment of our God, who must establish His justice on this earth, as it has been told to us in Daniel and throughout the Bible. Just as an individual who resists the Holy Spirit, who does not come to the saving knowledge but decides to make themselves the image of worship, they fail, as King Nebuchadnezzar had done, until they come to their senses, if they ever do so.

God allows us to understand that He exists and then gives us the option to accept saving grace or reject it. His remnant, those who are saved throughout all the world, even in the unrepentant nations, are protected by the grace and the power of God’s Holy Spirit, bringing us what we need even while the world around us is falling apart. He brings us comfort in times of disaster and peace in times of trouble.

Q ) 4. We are not called to fix the church or people. According to this study, who are we called to reach out to, and what should we do to demonstrate the love of God?

Your Comment. Please,

Within the church, we should be ministering to those who have fallen through the cracks. Our church services fail at times to reach the individual, not because of purposeful design by our leadership, but because of the constraints of schedules, buildings, sizes, and spaces, and the difficulty of reaching a minister for anyone in need. Many are left out of the in-crowd, the ones who are in the in-group, if I can use that expression.

I remember attending a church service where, at the end, people were waiting to connect with the leadership and learn more about what was there. One girl just got up and went right to the leadership. She was in need and weeping, and she distracted the entire meeting group from interacting with all those in the pews, waiting to make some sort of connection and find out more. The church service was dismissed, and no one got to meet leadership or talk to anyone. One woman took the entire time of everyone who was there to help and reach out to talk to new people or people who just had questions about salvation, Jesus, and so forth, or just get to shake a few hands and make a connection.

Q ) 5. How does understanding that the Holy Spirit has no limits encourage you to do the greater works that Jesus called us to do?

Your Comment. Please,

Well, this sets the stage for our redemption, the work of the cross, and all that we were created to be, as it was written in our books before the foundations of the world were laid. All that is ours, all that was meant to be ours, that the enemy has stolen. It has been redeemed by the work of the Cross. It is truly there.

Q ) 6. Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.

Your Comment. Please,

Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Prayer:

Father, thank You that we will do the greater works, empowered by the Holy Spirit. We yield to the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to have full manifestation in all our meetings this week at Warrior Fellowships. Thank You, Lord, for reminding us that we’re not called to fix the church or people; we’re just called to love people and minister to them by the power of the Holy Spirit. I ask, Lord, that everyone would feel loved and accepted. May their needs be met. In the name of Jesus, I rebuke and drive out the enemy from everyone’s finances, bodies, and minds. I command every evil spirit to desist your maneuvers right now, in the name of Jesus. Let go of the family of God. Thank You, Lord, for miracles in their finances, relationships, and bodies. Lord, thank You that demons are leaving now—they’re vacating and never coming back, in the name of Jesus. Father, thank You for the blood and the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer Request: If you have a testimony, a healing, or a prayer need, please share it in the comments section below.

Pray with one another and for one another, especially for those with specific needs or prayer requests. Please pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai. Anyone with a suggestion can post a comment, email me, or do both. What can we, as a body, do to support a local mission, such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? Links to this mission and other similar missions are included in each weekly email I send. Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but they cannot completely control us. Christians should not be left to their own devices but should take appropriate action when the waves rage. God bless you and keep you!

Please respond to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in this week’s home fellowship video. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a comment on Kevin’s suggested questions. Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video, not necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggests. Tell us what God is saying to you. Please share it with us, but first, watch this week’s lesson video and read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.

God Bless, and thank you,

Scott.
