Welcome to week 31 of the 2026 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. Q ) What does the Holy Spirit empower us to do, and what should we focus on?

The Holy Spirit empowers us to fulfill the call God has put upon our lives. All of us have a ministry. Whether you are a mother taking care of your children, feeding and comforting them, going to the supermarket, and taking care of chores, God has called you to do the greatest work that there is. That is to raise fine young women and men for the kingdom of God, knowing the truth and directing them in the paths of righteousness. If you have not had that yourself or have not done so, and you are a parent, God has plans for you and is calling you to walk in the presence of His holy angels and minister the work that God has ordained for you to commit to before the foundations of the world were created. Sounds like a heavy burden.
It sounds like it’s so complicated, doesn’t it? But it is not. The Lord said, “Take my yoke, for it is light” – that is my paraphrase. We are to follow suit, reading the Word of God, attending church, worshiping, praying, seeking the Holy Spirit for answers and guidance, submitting ourselves to that yoke of Christ that He Himself put on to carry the Cross for humanity.
God will empower you because this is what His intention was before you came into this world. If you have not yet come under the yoke of Jesus Christ by receiving Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you can always do so. Watch the most recent video in Sowing Into the Kingdom, part six, in the series, discussing what God has in store for humanity. Part seven may be ready by the time this is posted or shortly thereafter.
Q ) 1. Ecclesiastes 3:1 states that there is a time and a season for everything. Why is it important to understand that there are some seasons reserved only for the Father to know?

There are many world events taking place. Some headlines get us very excited as they begin to point towards the fulfillment of Bible prophecy, and some of them do coincide quite well with Bible prophecy, and there’s no doubt about that. At the same time, we cannot stay focused on leaving this world, though we eagerly await being in the kingdom, seeing our Heavenly Father, and being in a place far removed from this world, which is currently our home.
So, knowing the timing brings about some obscurity, as we cannot really focus entirely on studying it without neglecting our commandment to go and preach the Gospel to the whole world. That’s what seems to happen. We become a bit too anxious in sharing the Gospel – that our sins have been forgiven- and instead go a bit overboard and think of ourselves as Old Testament prophets warning the world. The only problem with that is the prophets spoke to a culture that does not exist today. They spoke over 2,000 years ago. Not that the message is outdated, but the method must be updated, as Paul has shown us in the New Testament.
If that’s your calling, I guess then that’s what you’re supposed to do. I would say most of us are to be ambassadors sharing the love of Christ in some way so that they may see the kingdom of God, give God glory, and come to know the love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Paul spoke to four cultures in his preaching, and his method was different for each. He did not preach to Gentiles as he did to the Jews who had the Torah for thousands of years.
Q ) 2. How does Dr. Zadai describe disappointments in this study? How can we keep our appointments with God, according to Acts 1:7–8?

As we have read in the transcript of Dr. Kevin’s video for this weekly study, when we focus too much on the end times (trying to discern the times and the seasons instead of using the power God has reserved for us to preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth) we don’t use our time to share the good news. We cannot be focused on every world event. Though we should know what is happening in our communities, our cities, and the world. We can shape our messages and preaching to accommodate what people are focused on.
Let’s examine an example: the soccer games that were recently played in the USA. The whole world was focused on soccer, world unity, and sportsmanship. With all that said, we can bring to those who are looking for fulfillment in the things of this world, things that they are hoping for: unity, love, and respect for one another that we have in Jesus Christ. We have a way of relating what they are experiencing temporarily through sports events, in this case, to what we have within us each and every single moment of each and every single day that escapes those who do not have Jesus Christ. Only what we have far exceeds what they have. We have to live that way so people can see it.
Q ) 3. Why did Jesus marvel at the centurion’s faith in Matthew 8:8–10? Discuss the connection between understanding authority and having faith.

Jesus marveled at the pagan centurion. Being a soldier in the Roman Empire didn’t bring about any disbelief in God. Though there were many ideas about God and, I’m sure, a lot of doubts as well, as we have today, the centurion saw and understood that Jesus had great authority. He understood his authority because he himself was under authority as a centurion and had reached the level of authority and understood what it meant: all the responsibilities that go with being under and one with authority.
The centurion, from a very simplistic understanding – he had no study in the ancient Hebrew texts of the day or knowledge of their scholarly research – had no knowledge of what they had – the Torah. The centurion was able to say something that carried a great truth that seemed to be missing in the Jewish community who had the Torah. That was to understand the authority Jesus carried in casting out demons, raising the dead, calming the waves, healing the sick, and restoring sight to the blind. The centurion understood this was a form of authority that he could give a command, and nature and the spirit world obeyed.
Sometimes, in the simplest and youngest believers in the Lord, those who just came to Christ, or even the young believers age-wise, because they just have childlike faith. They just believe. When God shows up, I hope He sees people who believe, and that includes me. We have to walk by faith and not by sight. We have to walk on that raging sea and not sink.
The authority that we have in Jesus’ name, by the shedding of His blood, we have the authority Christ carried now as well. First and foremost, to bring the Word, the Gospel, to all the Earth, to all the world, and to be a light in the darkness that people may see and know that there is one who has authority – Christ- and the Church who stays in control under the subjection of the Holy Spirit. That is us.
Q ) 4. What does it mean to trust God with all your heart and acknowledge Him in all your ways, according to Proverbs 3:5–6? What does God promise to those who do this?

Q ) 5. Acts 17:24–27 talks about how God appointed us to be in our generation. Even though satan is the (little g) god of this world, how can we give God control of our lives and impact our generation?

Can you believe that God put you where you are and in this current time in history to fulfill what He has written about you long before you were born? Now, God didn’t create the negative situations, as Dr. Kevin teaches us.
It says back in Genesis, at the finish of creation, God said it is good. That was before Adam and Eve fell. We have to decide and know and trust God and take our talents given to us as His servants – and apply them.

Father, thank You for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in Your knowledge. I pray that the Holy Spirit will help everyone understand the revelation taught in this short time. Help us to keep our appointments with You, to pray, and encourage one another. Thank You, Lord, for helping everyone in their finances, relationships, and bodies. I declare that Your healing is manifesting in their hearts, bodies, and minds. Thank You, Lord, for breaking every bondage and demonic attack. Thank You, Lord, for shining Your light of revelation upon everyone, in Jesus’ name, amen.
