Welcome to week 40 of the 2023 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments at the Comment link. Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link and then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson. I may purposely leave a short comment so others might comment on Dr. Kevin’s exercises on the blog. Your comment can be lengthy but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. You have something to share and do not know whose life you will affect.

Week 40_2023

Q o What can we learn from Dr. Zadai’s marathon training concerning running our spiritual race?

Your Comment. Please,

What I find interesting is Dr. Kevin’s analogy of runners going at a pace that their completion cannot keep up with early in the race, wearing them out and causing them to fail in their race.

The enemy will speak and use anyone, as Kevin mentions, and we must know when what comes our way is from God or from the devil, regardless of who is speaking. We find examples throughout scripture.

Q 1) God has no limits on us in the spirit, yet our mindset and maturity level can be limitations we must overcome. Discuss the importance of allowing the Holy Spirit to mentor you and why we should never compare ourselves with others.

Your Comment. Please,

I believe one of the greatest hindrances to our success in God’s calling is we place the fallen situations we find ourselves in is something God allows. It’s as if God purposed to harm you physically or cause you to fail in some way. THAT IS NOT TRUE. We have to remember God is not out to give us sickness. If you stray too far from the Good Shepheard, you are bound to be attacked by the adversary. If you are out of God’s will, there is a good chance you will fail, and that is probably a good thing.

We have to spend time in that quiet place with the Lord so we can be mentored. Never compare yourself with others, and if you hear the enemy speaking even from the “godly,” take heed to who is speaking. We cannot let ourselves be boxed in by ideas that are not part of what God has called us to become. That “boxing” can come from any situation or voice. We have to allow ourselves to hear from God and know God has plans to bless us and not curse us.

Q 2) In Deuteronomy 28:7, the Lord promises to scatter your enemies. When the devil can’t get to you, what is his next strategy, and why do we need to understand this?

Your Comment. Please,

The enemy does not want you to stand on your authority. he wants you to get into a frenzy and not focus on Reality. he wants to get you off the pace God has set for you. All you have to do is rely on the Lord, and He will guide your steps. We have to move in Him, The Lord. We have to have our lives hidden in Christ but also to be the lamp He has chosen us to be. The Lord scatters your enemies.

Q 3) According to James 4:7, what should your response be when the devil comes against you?

Your Comment. Please,

Surrender, confess our sins to God. We have to submit to the Word and agree with Scripture. Do not let anything distract you from The Truth, The Life, and the Way. We want to say God is in control, but only if we let Him. He will work out all things for our good, but we are called to show our faith and have our being in Him. Then, stand on the promises of God and let not your heart be troubled. The devil has to flee.

Q 4) According to this study, what is the key to breaking out? Discuss how you can develop consistency to where the enemy cannot handle it.

Your Comment. Please,

The adversary cannot handle a Believer who trusts in the Lord and knows the Word. The darkness cannot cope with the light. Every believer in Christ Jesus is more than a conqueror. That is so due to the Cross. The Holy Spirit, Who is God, in you – the Hope of Glory, cannot be defeated by any strategy the enemy uses. We have to walk by faith and not by sight. Stand on the Word of God and rely not on your understanding if you do not understand as of yet.

Q 5) 1 Samuel 30:6 states that David strengthened himself in the Lord. When the enemy attacks, how can we encourage ourselves in the Lord?

Your Comment. Please,

Here we are: Who were the people? They are God’s Chosen people. A group of people that are a bit peculiar, as we all are. But it was not the Philistines nor any other people group. That does not mean God’s people should be against one another! But that was the case here, recorded for us in God’s Word. But David strengthened Himself in the Word of God. So let us lay all hindrances aside and run that good race in respectful submission, first and foremost to God’s Word; then, we can do so with one another.

Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests. Please remember to pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai. If anyone has a suggestion, they can post a comment here, send me an email, or both. What can we do as a body to support a local mission such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? The links for this mission and others like it are in each email I send weekly. Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but circumstances cannot take complete control of us. Christians should not be given over to situations but take appropriate actions when the waves rage. God Bless you and keep you! Give us your response to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in the video for this week’s home fellowship. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a Comment on Kevin’s suggested questions. Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video and not just necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggests. Tell us what God is saying to you. Share it with us, but first, make sure to watch this week’s lesson video or read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.

God Bless, and thank you,

Scott.
