Welcome to week 35 of the 2026 Home Fellowship Bible study under Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Warrior Notes Ministry. Here are my comments and insights on Dr. Kevin’s Home Fellowship Lesson for this week. I urge you to share your comments using the Comment link. Dr. Kevin Zadai’s suggested exercises are listed below. I’ve added my comments here to start the session exercises. See the website Jesus-abc.net and click on the”fellowship” link and then “video” to find the corresponding transcript of this week’s lesson. I may leave a brief comment to encourage others to comment on Dr. Kevin’s blog exercises. Your comment can be lengthy, but stay on topic. You can comment on these questions or anything that strikes you in Dr. Kevin’s discussion. It does not matter if five people have already commented on the same topic/question. Week 35_2026
Q ) Discuss what it means to count the cost of following Jesus
Your Comment. Please,
The cost is what benefits you. When you think about it, what is the cost of something that would benefit you? What is that? What is it you desire? What are you willing to contribute that costs you? We all take our time and effort and invest that in some way to get a return. We know we have to buy food, pay rent or a mortgage, and have heating, electricity, and air conditioning. All these things require of us the service and comfort they provide, and we contribute our abilities to generate them.
But Jesus – God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit came to a conclusion that it would be Jesus who would pay the cost to redeem you so that you can be saved -redeemed and brought to a place that no transhumanist dream could ever compare to. A place called Heaven where there is no decay in nature, including your body, and your performance being way above anything that any superhero can perform.
What is it that we give to get that Pearl of Great Price, that wonderful gift and promise that is sealed by the Holy Spirit within us, proving the words of the Bible are true? The cost is our filthy rags, our refuse, the things that restrain us and keep us captive in a mindset thinking we need to perform and be accepted in some way in this fallen place that deems this place where there is decay, and dread, pain, and suffering as the ultimate existence. We’ve made sport of killing human beings; we made sport of our behavior – our sexual behavior and then take those little children to a place and bring them to their demise. Now, if you have committed an abortion or championed one, God is waiting to forgive you; all you have to do is ask. That is the purpose of the Cross and Christ dying on it.
So the cost that we pay may seem difficult as we try to break away from the system that ultimately brings death, because we are born into this fallen place – since Adam and Eve, we’ve been deceived by the fallen one; satan, who brought death and decay to this world and all who are in it. But Jesus has told us He has come to give life and life more abundantly, and that satan has come to kill, steal, and destroy.
Currently, the evil one is controlling this planet, as we read in the Bible. But ultimately the whole planet will be redeemed – bought back at the price Christ suffered on the Cross. And on that day you will either stand before God at the White Throne and be judged as unrighteous only because you have not accepted the Righteous One who declares you righteous once you do so. Or you will stand and receive or lose rewards based on your deeds but accepted nonetheless into the Kingdom of Heaven, the eternal place where humanity was meant to exist from the beginning.
Q ) 1. According to Matthew 13:45–46, how should we discern Jesus, and what should our response be?
Your Comment. Please,
I think I answered this in the first question above. Oh, by the way, the question without a number is one that Dr. Kevin asked in the video transcript of the week’s lesson. The numbered questions are the questions at the very end of the video/transcript.
So how do we discern Christ? How do we discern ourselves? How do we discern our neighbor, or our brothers and sisters in the Lord – the rest of the body of Christ?
Matthew 25:31-40
25:31 But when the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory:
25:32 and before him shall be gathered all the nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as the shepherd separateth the sheep from the goats;
25:33 and he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
25:35 for I was hungry, and ye gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in;
25:36 naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, and fed thee? or athirst, and gave thee drink?
25:38 And when saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
25:39 And when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it unto one of these my brethren, `even’ these least, ye did it unto me.
It’s truly up to each individual to show their love for Christ by their behavior, but do we consider our own behavior in the process? For those of us who are saved, these are the questions that will be asked of us at the Bema Seat of Christ. We will be judged by our words and our deeds but accepted into the beloved – Heaven based on Christ and what He has accomplished for us. And He will ask us what we have done with the talents He has given us. What should our response be? Our response should be our duties today.
What is our response throughout our day, week, hour by hour? This is why we always have to confess, repent, and repeat, as we are told.
Q ) 2. Discuss Dr. Zadai’s revelation that something flips inside you when you discern Jesus as the Pearl of Great Price. What happens when you allow that shift to take place in your heart?
Your Comment. Please,
Do you remember the day you got saved? For me, it was the most incredible experience I have ever had. I’ve done all sorts of things- I hiked up mountains and saw beautiful vistas, I have been on beautiful beaches, and seen sunsets all around the world. And had wonderful times with friends and family. But it was nothing like what I experienced when I received Jesus as my Savior. That born-again experience.
I had a profound one. Some people say it dawned on them gradually, but for me, it was like a dam breaking and water just pouring out! There was a lot I had to learn, a lot of things I had to change in my thinking and my life at the time, but that exhilaration – that love that I experienced in that transition at that moment proved to me that everything Christians were saying about Christ and the love of God was absolutely true.
I couldn’t recite one scripture verse. I didn’t understand anything about the Bible or Christianity except for a few things, because I grew up in a Christian household with a mom who was filled with the Spirit of God. But at that time, nothing in my life could keep me from following Christ and trying to share the great love I had experienced with another human being. That is why this website exists. This is why I produce videos, preach a little Gospel, and try to tell people that they must receive Christ and be saved. All those links you see throughout these blog posts I create; many of them lead to a Salvation Prayer, so if you’re coming across all these words and have not yet received Christ, you can do so by clicking on any of the links provided.
Q ) 3. According to Psalm 139:16, a book of destiny is written about each of us in Heaven. How does this revelation impact the way we invest our time and resources?
Your Comment. Please,
God has given us talents and resources that we are to use in this life for the glory of the kingdom. Just as we get ourselves educated, go out and find work, and have duties to provide for our families and ourselves with the basic necessities of life, God has given us what we need to go out and build for the kingdom. But that relationship – that Pearl of Great Price that we discover at that born-again experience and find out that we too are a Pearl of Great Price, so much so that God sent His only Son to die on a Roman Cross just to save you in particular. If there was only one human being that would say yes, God Himself would put Himself on the Cross and die in your place so you can be saved. We have to remember all this in our daily walk. Now, at times, it’s very difficult, especially in dealing with everything this world and the enemy throws at us. But we walk by faith and not by sight. And we have confidence in God’s Word.
Q ) 4. We are not only called to know the Person of Jesus, but also the inheritance that God has in us. What does the Holy Spirit want to do through us to impact our generation?
Your Comment. Please,
For me, it is the Gospel and sharing that word. It is what I live for and what I study here at the Warrior Notes Bible College (WN Bible College is the link on the far left of the menu at the top of the blog) and other institutions I attended for the sake of being equipped and to study to show myself approved and to share the Gospel with anyone that is capable of conversation.
Q ) 5. Discuss the three phases of the progression of maturity according to this study. What phase do you see yourself in?
Your Comment. Please,
Your Comments, please. Show that Pearl of Great Price Christ Paid for with His Blood. The seed of Hope and Faith is growing inside of you, and God has shown how much He cares for you by dying on the Cross. He put His trust in you, knowing that you would receive Him.
Q ) 6. Pray with one another and for anyone with specific needs or prayer requests.
Your Comment. Please,
Dr. Kevin Zadai’s Prayer:
Father, thank You so much for all my family all over the world. Kathi and I pray that the Holy Spirit would be able to come and manifest amid the hardship and complexity of people’s lives and help them to discern the truth. Father, I pray that the Holy Spirit will have His way, announcing deliverance, healing, and supernatural provision in every individual’s life. Father, we give You permission to move by Your Spirit. Send Your angels to expedite Your will by doing Your bidding. Thank You, Lord, for performing supernatural acts through the Holy Spirit, the angels, and by the blood of Jesus. Thank You, Father, for manifesting Your Spirit and Your word, in Jesus’ name, amen.
Prayer Request: If you have a testimony, a healing, or a prayer need, please share it in the comments section below or anywhere you see the word “comment” within the blog.
Share with us what God is doing in your life and what your prayer needs are – Comment.
Pray with one another and for one another, especially for those with specific needs or prayer requests. Please pray for me and everyone receiving the weekly email at Warrior Notes Tribeca, including the ministry team and Dr. Kevin Zadai. Anyone with a suggestion can post a comment, email me, or do both. What can we, as a body, do to support a local mission, such as the Bowery Mission in NYC? Links to this mission and other similar missions are included in each weekly email I send. Stay in the Lord, and don’t let anything steal your joy. Circumstances come our way, but they cannot completely control us. Christians should not be left to their own devices but should take appropriate action when the waves rage. God bless you and keep you!
Please respond to the questions Dr. Kevin Zadai asks us to discuss in this week’s home fellowship video. In addition, you might want to share your thoughts on any of the questions for the week’s lesson by adding a comment on Kevin’s suggested questions. Share your personal experiences. Comment on any part of the video, not necessarily the questions Dr. Kevin suggests. Tell us what God is saying to you. Please share it with us, but first, watch this week’s lesson video and read the transcript on the Warrior Notes Tribeca website.
God Bless, and thank you,
Scott.
