I have come to know that the Lord is good. So many times, we attribute to God things that God is not responsible for. Things like Hurricanes, tornadoes, disease, and famine. God has made way for humanity to come to escape hell. We are here for that purpose. Do not attribute the nature of the fallen realm to God. We need a new paradigm on how we see things.
The End of Your Faith – Week 40

The End of Your Faith – Week 40

1       A lot of what came to mind in the last video can be applied right here. Let the words that Kevin says at about two and a half minutes into the video sink in. “Who you are as a person is a manifestation of God on the earth.” You never forget that! And don’t forget when God sees you, he sees Jesus Christ. He does not see your faults or weaknesses though we are genuinely examined at the Bema…

Full Assurance – Week 39

Full Assurance – Week 39

1       I can’t help but comment just on the very beginning, during Dr. Kevin Zadai’s prayer. “Jesus leads us into all truth. And the word for truth is “Reality!” So interesting that Jesus calls the devil a liar and the father of all lies. Jesus tells us He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Before watching the video and before reading the transcript, I got so much to say on this topic. I think we all do. Because…

Faith is Obedience – Week 38

Faith is Obedience – Week 38

1       Answering the project that Dr. Kevin recommends associated with the home fellowship video, my responses are below. How has obeying the command of God affected your life? Well the first and foremost God commands that we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. That in itself, of course, is The Pearl of Great Price. So the rich young ruler (Bible commenters believe it was Mark himself Jesus was referring to) instructed to sell all he had to give…

The Secret Place – Week 37

The Secret Place – Week 37

1       Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I was watching the first two minutes of Week 37’s video, and no later did I feel the need to give a response. But as I reach six minutes into the video, I hear Kevin state that the scholars say Moses wrote Psalm 91. Nonetheless, I feel that we find this verse in the Bible not only for…

Jesus is the Word – Week 36

Jesus is the Word – Week 36

1       1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. —John 1:1-4 NKJV For me, this is the center of all truth! The center of the universe. What Kathi Zadai tried to express at…

No Questions Only Answers – Week 35

No Questions Only Answers – Week 35

1       The title of this week’s message says it all. But we have to make sure we are getting the answers. That is, I have to do that speaking for myself. Sometimes when I am a bit worried over issues, the Lord responds with a soft and beautiful memory. But when I give my thoughts space to respond to negative situations, you can bet I get all worked up over the matter. This should not be the response. I just…

Getting Answers – Week 34

Getting Answers – Week 34

1       We all have busy schedules. That is part of this life. But we need to do our best to have communion and fellowship with God. That will help us get on the same page as God. I love Hebrews 11:1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. KJV Our faith, in the plainest sense, everyone who has the Holy Spirit is saved lives by faith, all though it might not be…

God’s Love – Week 33

God’s Love – Week 33

1       That incredible love God has for us is experiential. You can experience the love of God once you have accepted God. God is love. Once I became born again, that love was so overwhelming I wept uncontrollably for five minutes. I felt that I had to share the Gospel with everyone. Considering the next point Dr. Kevin Zadai mentions, I would like to say that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, first and foremost the love of…

The Commander of Your Faith – Week 32

The Commander of Your Faith – Week 32

1       The Commander of Your Faith How comforting those words are. “It is the goodness of God that leads us to repentance!” His Love, His comforting Holy Spirit, His incredible love is expressed from within us through the Holy Spirit. Paul speaks about the unspeakable gift. We read about the pearl of great price, which the merchant sells all to have. The things of this world grow strangely dim. And we run that good race set before us. Seeking a…

How to Wage Local Warfare – Week 31

How to Wage Local Warfare – Week 31

1       How to Wage Local Warfare What can you do to wage local warfare in your community? Even if people don’t recover or aren’t raised from the dead, how will you keep going forward in the mission? You have to keep going forward: Imagine how the disciples felt after Jesus was crucified and buried. Even though Jesus told them himself that all these things would take place, they presumed that the mission of the Messiah had failed. I guess it’s…
